While in Des Moines...

The greatest city in the world.

W e want to share some of our favorite spots with you on our wedding weekend. We realize that a lot of people are coming in from out of town and don't really know the area too well! Or maybe you're from the area and want to try a few new things! If you have additional free time and want to explore what Des Moines has to offer, here's what Christian and I recommend! There’s lots of good food to eat and things to do! You can check out the Des Moines Art Center, a favorite place of Andrea’s. There’s also the Botanical Garden, a great place for kids! Bring some paper and crayons and have your littles draw their favorite plants they find! If you wanna learn about the history of Iowa, a good place to meander is the Iowa Historical Building, and nearby is the State capitol, pop in for a tour to check out some amazing architecture! Another good place for kiddos is the Science Center downtown Des Moines, very interactive and a good way to spend your day. Or get lost in the sky walks over Des Moines, something Christian and I did on our first date! : )
